Science in Bushcraft for Professionals

If you are already an experienced bushcraft professional who is involved with school groups and who would like to develop a further dimension to your sessions then consider joining Rupert for a session that explores the main Bushcraft skills; Fire, Water, Shelter, Gadgets and Cordage with the intention of drawing out the science behind them.

Challenge

  • Are you interested in extending your knowledge beyond the delivery of bushcraft and survival skills?
  • Do you, as part of your professional work, have regular contact with Schools?
  • Would your sessions benefit from the ability to draw out links to age appropriate Curriculum based knowledge?

Value

As part of your ongoing Continued Professional Development the Science in Bushcraft course for Professionals offers a way for Bushcraft Professionals to add further depth to their training sessions. During this session your bushcraft skills will be looked at within the context of the Science Curricula for different ages. This will allow your sessions to cater for school groups and support their science learning in the confidence that you are giving the students age appropriate knowledge.
NB This session is not intended to teach the skills themselves though I will do what I can to help them evolve.
